PJ was playing in the pasture this morning and hurt himself.

Took him to UT immediately
Dr Castro & Dr Boswell were attending

DX: ruptured peronus tertius (?) in right hind.

TX: 2 grams bute am and pm for 2 days then one gram am and pm for 10 days then one gram daily for another 10.

COMPLETE STALL REST for 4 weeks.

Dr Castro will make a farm call in 4 weeks to evaluate and discuss rehab options.
